LYNELLE LEIGHTON proudly presents the hauntingly memorable vocals of Agnetha Falkstog, and is the creator of Dancing Queen.

Studying classical piano at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Lynelle moved to professional vocal and keyboard work in television and radio, as well as charming thousands with her live performances. Lynelle has worked with some of Australia's top artists including Wickety Wak, Glen Shorrock, and John Farnham.

Anyone can hum along to an ABBA song, but to reproduce the unmistakable sound of Agnetha's voice the way Lynelle does is something not to be missed. You will amazed at the likeness in songs such as SOS, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Chiquitita, and especially her signature song, The Winner Takes It All.

Being a passionate ABBA fan from the age of seven, Lynelle is a superb performer worthy of bringing alive the music of this incredible pop group. She is also responsible for the amazing authenticity of this brilliant production, including each note, hamony, dance move, mannerism, and costume replication.

 

JACQUELINE OZARIO is stunning as Anni-frid Lyngstad. Those of you who are true ABBA fans will know that Frida was responsible for the rich lower tones in the girls vocals. Jacqueline reproduces these soulful sounds as well as the beautiful lead vocal for songs like Money Money Money, and Knowing Me, Knowing You.

Jacqueline has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Drama and has a deep love for music, so she is perfect for the role of Frida as she gets to show off both her passions to their fullest potential.

Her beautiful smile and gorgeous curly hair allow her to bring a dramatic visual colour to the stage in contrast to the blonde Agnetha. You will love how her witty intelligent humour (with a slightly wicked edge) bring an interesting dynamic to the show.

Dancing Queen are proud to have a performer who possesses such poise and presence to display the wonderful qualities of Anni-frid.

JAMES MCINTYRE has had music flowing through his veins from an early age, having a raw natural ability that is hard to describe.

With an Associate Diploma in Jazz, he is an accomplished guitarist, singer and songwriter who performs his own compositions with his originals band Hypernova.

During the week our Nina Pretty Ballerina works in a guitar studio passing on his endless knowledge to the younger generation, but little do they know what he gets up to on the weekend as he reveals his secret passion for lycra!

Watch out for this very lively and cheeky new addition to Dancing Queen with his boyish good looks and amazing guitar artistry. He truly is the consumate performer to bring to life the one and only Eurovision Rock God, Bjorn Ulvaeus.

LUKE ADENEY is the newest member of Dancing Queen and thanks to his studies in classical music since early childhood he is truly a beautiful pianist, worthy to play the magical notes of Benny Andersson.

Luke is an accomplished violinist, performing regularly with the Queensland Youth Orchestra. His talents continue into the areas of dance and theatre, and with the bonus of a wonderful sense of humour he is a key strength in the entertainment value of Dancing Queen.

Luke will restore your faith that brilliant musicians are still being produced by the Australian music industry. His innocent and genuine character are endearing and he will warm your hearts with his deliciously rich vocal tones and harmonies.
